Job summary

Cranleigh Personnel is seeking a Trainee Financial Planner in Leatherhead. You will work closely with an Adviser, attending client meetings and helping to craft holistic financial plans, with full administration support.

This is a structured pathway to become a Financial Adviser, with formal training and exam support. Role focuses on attending meetings, supporting planning cases, research, cash flow modelling and report preparation, guided by mentoring from an experienced Adviser.

Qualifications

• IFA Administration or Junior Paraplanning experience within wealth/financial planning
• Ideally already working towards the Level 4 Diploma
• A genuine desire to build a career within financial planning

Trainee Financial Planner

Location: Leatherhead

Salary: £33,000 - £42,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Are you an IFA Administrator or Junior Paraplanner who knows you want to build a career within financial planning?

This is a great opportunity to join a boutique, highly established financial planning practice, where you'll work closely alongside the Adviser who is genuinely committed to training, mentoring and developing you.

You'll attend his client meetings and work alongside him to construct holistic financial plans. With full administration support from a dedicated administrator as well.

The Role

Working closely with the Adviser, you'll gradually build your technical and client-facing experience across:

• Attending client meetings and getting involved with clients
• Supporting the Adviser with financial planning cases
• Technical research and analysis
• Cash flow modelling
• Preparing suitability reports and client documentation
• Developing holistic financial plans
• Working closely with the existing Report Writer and Practice Manager

Training & Progression

The Adviser wants to personally mentor and develop the successful candidate, giving you hands-on exposure to the advice process while supporting you through your professional qualifications.

You'll receive full exam support towards the Level 4 Diploma and Chartered qualifications, alongside practical experience that will help you apply what you're learning.
