Job summary

Dynamite Recruitment seeks a committed paraplanner to join a professional, client-focused Chartered financial planning practice. You will work with Financial Planners and Senior Paraplanners, supporting the planning process and client interactions in Lewes.

You will build experience in cashflow planning, meeting preparation, and client documentation, with a clear path toward Chartered Financial Planner status. Office-based role with mentoring and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of paraplanning experience.
• Diploma in Financial Planning is required or essential.
• Active study towards further financial planning qualifications is desirable.
• Strong client-service mindset and communication skills.
• Keen to develop technical and client-facing skills over time.
• Ambitious with long-term career progression in mind.
• Office-based role during development at Lewes.

Responsibilities

• Assist Financial Planners and Senior Paraplanners in client meetings and planning.
• Support cashflow planning and prepare for meetings.
• Prepare suitability reports and client documentation.
• Liaise with product providers and assist with new business administration.
• Maintain compliant client files and administrative tasks.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a professional, client-focused Chartered financial planning business, with a clear development path towards becoming a Chartered Financial Planner.

The Role

You will work closely with Financial Planners and Senior Paraplanners, supporting clients throughout the financial planning process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing for and attending client meetings
• Supporting cashflow planning
• Managing meeting preparation and follow-up
• Liaising with product providers
• Preparing suitability reports and client documentation
• Supporting new business and platform administration
• Maintaining accurate and compliant client files

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has at least 2 years' Paraplanning experience
• Holds the Diploma in Financial Planning
• Is studying towards, or keen to pursue, further qualifications
• Has a genuine passion for client service
• Wants to develop their technical and client-facing skills
• Is ambitious and looking for long-term career progression
• Is happy to be mainly office based during their development
