Job summary

Blakemore Recruitment is seeking a Paraplanner/Trainee IFA in Lewes, East Sussex, to support Financial Advisers, produce high-quality technical documentation, and perform research. There is a clear development path to become an adviser within 18–24 months.

You will manage your own workflow, liaise with providers, and contribute to client-focused service in a collaborative environment. Attractive salary up to £45,000 with strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Paraplanning or Senior Financial Planning Administrator background.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and planning products.
• Experience preparing suitability reports and conducting technical research.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Salary: Up to £45,000

Are you an experienced Paraplanner looking to join a professional, client-focused financial planning firm where your expertise is valued and your career can continue to develop?

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected Independent Financial Planning practice that is committed to delivering outstanding advice and exceptional client service. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative team, working closely with Financial Advisers and fellow Paraplanners in a supportive and technically focused environment. In addition, they want someone who wants to develop into being an adviser. There is a plan for this to happen within 18 months to 2 years.

The Role

As a Paraplanner, you'll play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers by producing high-quality technical documentation, carrying out research, and helping to deliver tailored financial planning solutions for clients.

You'll enjoy a varied role where you'll be involved in:

About You

We're looking for someone who is technically strong, organised and enjoys working in a collaborative financial planning environment.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a Paraplanning or Senior Financial Planning Administrator role.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning products.
• Experience preparing suitability reports and conducting technical research.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive approach with a genuine commitment to delivering excellent client outcomes.
• Progress towards, or completion of, Level 4 Diploma qualifications would be advantageous.
