WEALTHLINK RECRUITMENT LTD is assisting a Boutique Independent Financial Adviser in Sutton Coldfield to recruit a Trainee Paraplanner. You will join a pod with experienced paraplanners across financial planning, investments, pensions, IHT and protection, with full training provided.

This role suits someone with IFA administration or paraplanning exposure who wants to become a diploma-qualified paraplanner, or a motivated entrant seeking a career in financial planning.

Qualifications

• Experience in IFA administration or paraplanning helpful.
• Willingness to study to complete Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documentation for client reviews.
• Attend and minuting client and prospect meetings.
• Produce suitability reports for existing clients (pensions, investments, transfers, protections).
• Create full planning reports for new clients.
• Coordinate with Investment Team on plan changes affecting strategy.
• Assist with cashflow modelling.
• Handle ad hoc administration duties.

Trainee Paraplanner

We are working with a Boutique Independent Financial Adviser who are looking to bring on a Trainee Paraplanner. In the role you will work in a pod with experienced paraplanners on a wide range of financial planning, investment, pension, IHT and estates, and protection cases. cases. A full training and development programme will be put in place.

This is a great role for an experienced IFA Administrator or someone with some paraplanning experience that wants to kick on and become a fully diploma qualified Paraplanner. This role is also open to individuals who are keen to get into the industry and build a career in financial planning.

Key duties of the Trainee Paraplanner

• Preparing documentation for client review meetings
• Attending and minuting client and prospect meetings
• Production of Suitability Reports for existing clients covering for example, pension draw and contributions, pension transfers, fund switches, bond assignments and surrenders. There is also occasionally a need to recommend protection products.
• Producing full planning reports for new clients.
• Liaising with our Investment Team to communicate changes to client plans which impact on the investment strategy.
• Cashflow Modelling
• Ad hoc Administration duties
