Job summary

PM+M is seeking a Trainee Financial Adviser to join the Workplace Save + Protect team. Based in the North West, the role supports advisers delivering workplace pensions, employee benefits and corporate protection for employers and employees across diverse sectors.

You will gain structured training and coaching, with a clear path toward becoming a fully qualified financial adviser and pursuing professional qualifications. The position is hybrid with office presence in Blackburn.

Qualifications

• Interest in financial services and a career in financial advice.
• Willingness to pursue professional qualifications (e.g., CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning).
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist with workplace pension schemes implementation and management.
• Support advisers with pension governance meetings and client reviews.
• Help deliver employee pension workshops and financial wellbeing presentations.
• Assist with setting up and administering employee benefits arrangements.
• Support group life assurance, income protection and private medical insurance schemes.
• Prepare meeting packs, reports and client communications.
• Coordinate with pension providers, insurers, payroll and HR teams.
• Attend client meetings alongside advisers and build client relationships.
