Job summary

Igne Group Limited in Aston Clinton is seeking a Trainee Field Technician to join its Construction Materials Testing Division. No prior experience is required; you will learn on-site sampling of soils and construction materials while gaining practical testing skills.

You will work with experienced technicians, complete test sheets on tablets, and develop expertise in QA processes. A full UK driving licence is essential and training is provided.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
• Willingness to work outdoors and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to operate in a team and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• On-site sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt.
• Complete test sheets and data entry onto tablets.
• Liaise with seniors on schedules and testing procedures.
• Work within in-house QA systems and maintain health & safety standards.
