Job summary

Igne Group Limited is seeking a Field Technician to join the Construction Materials Testing Division in the Bristol area. The role involves hands-on ground and soil sampling on construction projects and testing in-situ, with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

The successful candidate will have a clean UK driving licence, good written and verbal communication, and the willingness to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Clean UK driving licence is essential.
• CSCS card is desirable.

Responsibilities

• On-site sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete and asphalt.
• Complete test sheets and enter data on tablets.
• Liaise with senior staff on work schedules and testing procedures.
• Follow in-house quality assurance systems.
• Maintain high health and safety standards in line with policy.
