Job summary

Hotpoint is offering a Trainee Field Service Engineer role across the UK, combining classroom learning with hands-on on-the-job training. You’ll visit customers’ homes to diagnose and repair household appliances, starting with induction and shadowing before progressing to independent field visits.

No prior field engineering experience is required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential. A company van and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation required.
• Interest in electrics or mechanics with hands-on problem solving.
• Must hold a full UK manual driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Drive your own Hotpoint van to customer appointments.
• Diagnose and repair appliances like tumble dryers, washing machines and ovens.
• Provide top-notch customer service on every visit.
• Manage tools and spare parts stock.
• Promote Hotpoint products during visits.
