Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Trainee Production Operative in Hitchin to learn the electroplating process and advance to a fully trained Electroplater. You will be trained to prepare, plate and quality-check metal components within a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Starting pay is £12.80 per hour, with pay increases once fully trained. The role runs Monday to Friday with potential for permanent progression and a long-term career in a busy production team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal components ready for plating.
• Load and unload components safely.
• Learn nickel and zinc electroplating processes.
• Jig and wire components for processing.
• Carry out quality checks on finished products.
• Follow production instructions and health & safety procedures.
• Keep the work area clean and organised.
• Work as part of a busy production team.
• Progress within the role toward becoming a fully trained Electroplater.
