Job summary

Graticules Optics Ltd in Tonbridge, Kent is seeking a Trainee Production Operative to join our Electroforming Department. This hands-on role provides full training to learn specialist manufacturing processes, including micro-patterns, chemical steps and quality inspection to meet our standards.

You will be trained in mandrel preparation, grid cleaning, electroforming and resist dipping, manufacture of precision components, and routine quality checks while following work procedures and Health &

• Willing to learn and develop practical skills in a hands-on role
• Able to follow instructions and work safely within procedures
• Interest in precision manufacturing is helpful

Trainee Production Operative

Tonbridge, Kent Full-Time Permanent 37.5 hours per week

Are you practical, reliable and good with detail? Looking for a hands-on role where you can learn specialist manufacturing skills with full training provided?

Graticules Optics is looking for a Trainee Production Operative to join our Electroforming Department in Tonbridge.

The role

You ll be trained in the specialist processes used to manufacture our precision electroformed components.

This is detailed, hands-on work involving micro-patterns, chemical processes and periods of standing. You ll also learn how to inspect and test your work to make sure it meets our quality standards.

The person

You don t need previous electroforming experience full training is provided.

We re looking for someone who:

• Has a good eye for detail
• Can concentrate and follow instructions carefully
• Is practical, self-motivated and willing to learn
• Can follow Health & Safety procedures
• Is comfortable with hands-on production work
• Experience with fine-detail or microscope work would be useful, but isn t essential.
