Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Production Operative for an electroplating role in Hitchin. You will receive full training and start at £12.80 per hour, with a pay rise after training completion. The position is full-time, temporary to permanent, with Monday to Friday hours and on-site parking.

No prior electroplating experience is required; candidates with production/manufacturing background will have an advantage. Opportunity to develop into a fully trained electroplater.

Qualifications

• No previous electroplating experience required; full training will be provided.
• Previous production/manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal components for plating and loading/unloading safely.
• Learn nickel and zinc electroplating processes and quality-check parts.
• Follow production instructions and health & safety procedures; keep area clean and organized.
• Develop skills with the potential to progress to a fully trained Electroplater.
