Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a trainee/engineer for a site-based Electrical Maintenance role within a large manufacturing operation.

You will maintain automated production line machinery, respond to breakdowns, and perform planned maintenance with overtime available to boost earnings. Commutable from Coalville, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicester, Loughborough and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification; industrial or commercial maintenance experience.
• Time served / apprentice trained or above.
• Experience with automated plant machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair automated production line equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform planned maintenance.
• Provide technical support on projects and installations.

Are you electrically qualified and have you worked in an industrial or commercial environment? (not residential)

Are you looking for a site based maintenance role working in the Manufacturing and Production sector where you will be tasked to maintain automated production line machinery?

The basics:

• Location: Near Mountsorrel - Leicester
• Pay: £45,800 + overtime available = earnings of £50,000 and upwards achievable
• Hours: Monday to Thursday (8.00am to 4.00pm) and Fridays (6.00am to 4.00pm)
• Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays
• Holidays: 25 days

Overview:
Working within a large manufacturing business that have sites across the UK, you will be tasked to maintain the plants production line machinery ensuring that production keeps running efficiently, responding to breakdowns and re-active/planned maintenance.

Key responsibilities of the Trainee Electrical Maintenance Engineer role:

• To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
• PPM's

The ideal candidate / Trainee Electrical Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Time served, apprentice trained or above - must be electrically qualified
• Previous experience working within an Industrial or commercial environment electrically.
