Job summary

Nicholas Associates is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a site-based role near Leicester Forest East. The position covers both mechanical and electrical maintenance in a modern manufacturing setting. The shift pattern is 4 days on, 4 days off (6-6 days & Nights), with starting pay of £52,000 and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Time served apprentice trained or above.
• Experience in a maintenance-focused role within manufacturing/production.
• Electrical understanding and basic fault finding; electrical certifications not mandatory (training can be provided).

Responsibilities

• To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production downtime.
• Provide technical support on projects, installations and breakdowns.
• PPMs (planned preventive maintenance).

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Working in modern, purpose built (clean and warm) manufacturing facilities we now require a site-based Maintenance Engineer to join the team. Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered.

Key responsibilities

• To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
• PPM's

Ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Time served apprentice trained or above
• Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar
• An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications (Electrical training can be given - the company provide electrical courses offsite)
• Commutable from:
• Mountsorrel, Barrow upon Soar, Loughborough, Rothley, Leicester and surrounding areas.
