Job summary

SP Energy Networks is launching the Trainee Craftsperson Programme across Merseyside and Mid-Cheshire. This is a hands-on, five-month training scheme that combines practical power infrastructure work with learning toward a nationally recognised qualification.

You will join an industrial environment, gain skills in electrical power engineering, safety, and on-site operations, and start on a salary from £30,630 with a generous pension and flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in an industrial or electrical environment.
• Experience working where health and safety policies are a priority.
• Driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Trainee Craftsperson Programme and complete mandatory technical training courses over ~5 months.
• Attend assessment centre days and training sessions across designated centres.
• Develop skills in installation and maintenance of power infrastructure and renewable energy technologies.
