Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components from start to finish and perform in-process testing.

• Use small hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Learn to solder to a consistent standard with full training provided.
• Test finished assemblies using specialist test equipment.
• Work safely alongside the shop floor team.

Trainee Electrical Assembler | Bournemouth | £13 per hour

Start your career as a Trainee Electrical Assembler, with your pay reviewed every year based on how you're doing. No experience needed, just an interest in how things are put together and a willingness to learn. You'll be trained from day one by people who genuinely want to see you grow into the role.

As a Trainee Electrical Assembler, you will benefit from:

• Company bonus scheme, currently 2% and rising to 4% next year
• Overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays at time and a half, and Sundays at double time

As a Trainee Electrical Assembler, your responsibilities will include:

• Assembling electrical components from start to finish, including in process testing
• Learning to follow technical drawings and Standard Operating Procedures
• Using small hand tools and precision measuring equipment such as micrometres
• Learning to solder to a consistent standard, with full training provided
• Testing finished assemblies using specialist test equipment
• Working safely alongside the wider shop floor team

As a Trainee Electrical Assembler, your experience will include:

• Hands-on interests such as electronics, model making or computer building, or a background in manufacturing
• Assembly or production experience is advantageous, but not essential
• Interest in or exposure to the aerospace industry is a bonus, but not required
• A genuine willingness to learn, no soldering or assembly experience necessary
• Comfortable following instructions and written procedures closely
• A team player who enjoys being part of a busy, hands-on environment
