Proactive Global is recruiting for Trainee/ Junior Electro Mechanical Assemblers in Farnborough. This entry role requires a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electro/mechanical assemblies from drawings.
• Solder, wire, crimp components as required.
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools and fixtures safely.
• Test and inspect assemblies to ensure they meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Follow ISO procedures, 5S and ES D control where applicable.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and observe health & safety requirements.

Trainee/ Junior Electro Mechanical Assemblers

Trainee/ Junior Electro mechanical Assemblers Urgently required to work for a specialist engineering and manufacturing organisation based near Farnborough. This is a Trainee level role so no prior experience will be required, however key to this role will be a positive attitude, a want to learn, pick up new skills and progress within the business.

You will be working closely with the Production Engineering and Quality teams to assemble mechanical and electro/mechanical assemblies from engineering drawings

The role:

• Assembly of mechanical and electro/mechanical assemblies from drawings
• Soldering, wiring, crimping
• Using equipment including hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and assembly fixtures safely and correctly.
• Testing and inspection of assemblies
• Follow company quality standards, ISO procedures, and ESD control
• Ensure all work meets engineering specifications and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area in line with 5S principles
• Adhere to health & safety requirements, including safe handling of electrical components and tools.
• Full training provided on assembly, testing, ESD control and quality procedures
• Opportunity to progress to Skilled Assembler, Test Technician or Production Technician roles.
