Job summary

The Sofa Delivery Company is hiring a Trainee Driver in Doncaster to start in-house Driving School training. Over 12 weeks you will drive a 3.5-ton van, then progress to a 7.5-ton licence with a pay raise on promotion.

Expect 4-on, 4-off shifts from 7am to 7pm, with support for training costs and tests as you advance. We value communication, safety, and customer service as you learn to deliver furniture safely to customers' homes, stay ahead of deliveries, and work with the team to uphold brand

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence with 6 points or fewer.
• At least 2 years of driving experience, with no drink/drug driving convictions.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn!

Responsibilities

• Delivering furniture safely and professionally to customers' homes.
• Keeping customers informed with pre-delivery communications.
• Ensuring delivery to the room of choice and leaving no rubbish behind.
• Collaborating with your team and managers to improve service standards.
• Representing The Sofa Delivery Company and brand partners in all activities.
