Job summary

Guernsey Electricity seeks a Distribution Operational Engineer to perform distribution engineering activities across fault restoration, maintenance, asset replacement projects, and related work streams.

Work occurs in offices or on site, including on public roadways in all weather. Reasonable fitness is required for on-site duties and handling heavy test equipment, acting as a key interface between Distribution and Asset Management to ensure daily project delivery.

Job description

To carry out all distribution operational engineering activities across various work streams including but not limited to fault restoration and repair, maintenance, and asset replacement projects.

Work is carried out in a variety of environments, in office, or on site, and on the public roadways in all weathers. Reasonable fitness is required for on-site work and the carrying of heavy test equipment. This role acts as a key interface between Distribution and Asset Management, ensuring day to day delivery of project work and work programmes.
