Job summary

YTL UK is recruiting a Distribution Inspector for the West Dorset region. You will work across Dorchester, Weymouth, West Dorset and Purbeck, operating a distribution network and resolving incidents as part of a 24/7 team. A company van is provided to support travel across the region.

You will be trained to inspect assets, plan maintenance, and liaise with internal teams to deliver safe and reliable water supply to customers. Flexibility for standby hours and independent work is required.

Qualifications

Strong, motivated team player with a proactive mindset.
Decisive under pressure and able to adapt with flexible cover.
Willing to work independently, including standby hours.
Full clean driving licence.
Effective communication and a can-do approach.
Commitment to health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

Operate the day-to-day distribution network including mains, booster stations and reservoirs.
Plan maintenance activities to minimise impact on network and customers.
Inspect assets and provide solutions for network and customer problems.
Be the point of contact for resolving incidents during planned and reactive work.
Work across the west distribution area for Dorchester, Weymouth, West Dorset and Purbeck.
