Job summary

Boots in the UK is offering a Trainee Dispenser role within a store setting. You will support the pharmacist and healthcare professionals while completing the NVQ2 dispenser training. The role focuses on greeting customers, dispensing prescriptions, and giving medicines advice to help patients make informed health decisions.

The position is based in-store across London locations with training provided. UK right to work is required; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Willing to enroll in the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 dispenser training programme (training provided).
• Current and valid UK right to work; visa sponsorship not available.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines (labelling, dispensing, endorsing).
• Work with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with store innovations and comply with processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and improve adherence.
