Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to join our store pharmacy team in the UK. You will support the pharmacist and healthcare professionals, assisting in dispensing prescriptions and providing patient advice while you complete your NVQ2 Dispenser training. No prior experience is required and full training will be provided.

This in-store role requires UK right to work and is not open to sponsorship. Training and career development options, including potential progression to Pharmacy

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Current and valid UK right to work; sponsorship not offered.

Responsibilities

• Complete training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Dispense prescriptions with safe supply of medicines (labelling, dispensing, endorsing).
• Collaborate with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with store innovations and SOPs to improve patient safety.
• Help patients manage repeats and medicines to promote adherence.
