Job summary

Boots UK is offering a Trainee Dispenser role in-store across selected London locations. You will support the pharmacist and healthcare professionals while you complete your dispenser training (NVQ2).

No previous experience required and full training will be provided, with an hourly rate of £13.12–£15.10. You will greet customers, assist in dispensing prescriptions, and provide medicines advice to help patients make informed health choices.

Qualifications

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Current UK right to work is required; sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines (ordering, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection).
• Work with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services in-store.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store technologies and evolving processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and medicines effectively to promote adherence.
