Qualifications
- Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2)
- Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
Responsibilities
- Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
- Prescription dispensing whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines (ordering, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, collection).
- Work with other healthcare professionals to assist in delivering pharmacy services.
- Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
- Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
- Keep up to date with new innovations in store and comply with operational processes.
- Support patients to manage their prescriptions with reliable repeats and promote adherence.
