Job summary

Apple Technical Recruitment (UK) Limited is seeking a Trainee Design Manager to join a privately owned Main Contractor in Suffolk. This permanent role involves supporting design across all RIBA stages and developing a career in Design Management with a main contractor.

Ideal for a trainee or graduate in architectural, design or engineering disciplines who wants to grow within Pre-Construction and on-site delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Completed or part-way through Degree in Construction Management/Architecture/Engineering/Architectural Technology or comparable qualification e.g. HNC/HND/BTEC/NVQ.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous Roles: Junior Design Manager OR Trainee Design Manager OR Assistant Design Co-ordinator OR Assistant Design Coordinator OR Graduate Design Manager.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will take responsibility assisting in the design process throughout the full project lifecycle including helping supervising consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
