Apple Technical Recruitment (UK) is seeking a Design Manager for a highly regarded main contractor. The role focuses on early feasibility and procurement stages, with initial projects in the Education sector and PCSAs experience desirable.

Essex-based with a strong process-driven approach and attention to detail. Candidates should have 5+ years with a Main Contractor, design management experience, and familiarity with Design & Build contracts.

Qualifications

• Education sector project experience would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of Construction methodology and Design & Build contracts would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for technical compliance and design management at early feasibility and procurement stages.
• Involvement in monitoring on-site design coordination and managing external consultants.

Education

HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture
