Job summary

Finlay Jude Associates Limited on behalf of a leading utilities service provider is recruiting a Customer Side Leakage Technician to join the Asset Survey Team. You will attend pre-arranged customer appointments to investigate and identify customer-side water leaks and provide clear advice on next steps for repair.

Based across Enfield and surrounding areas, you will inspect properties, verify meter readings, interpret plans, and complete reports while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in leak detection, water networks or utilities field.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to interpret drawings, plans and schematics.
• Strong organisational skills and workload management.
• Full UK driving licence and knowledge of local area.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and identify customer-side water leaks at properties.
• Carry out leak detection using appropriate methods and equipment.
• Inspect plumbing systems to locate leak sources.
• Verify and record water meter readings accurately.
• Interpret water network plans and technical drawings.
• Explain findings and advise on repairs to customers.
• Complete reports and update company systems after visits.
• Plan daily workloads and travel routes across Enfield and surroundings.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment.
• Ensure work complies with health and safety regulations.
