Job summary

Finlay Jude Associates Ltd is recruiting Trainee Field Technicians to cover local areas in the Water Industry. The role involves learning to locate water leaks on underground networks and is a day shift, 40 hours per week, with full training provided.

You will work in the field with a company van and fuel card, support leak detection teams, complete paperwork, and gain EUSR Water Hygiene training. A full and clean driving licence is essential, and the role offers clear career progression toward

Qualifications

• Full training will be provided to start a career in the Water Industry.
• Must hold a full clean driving licence.
• Temporary to permanent role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leakage.
• Assist repair gangs by providing leak detection services.
• Assist in survey work/project work not normally associated with day-to-day leak detection.
• Assist in adequate and accurate completion of all paperwork (including time sheets, survey forms, leak details and other duties).
• Possess basic computer skills as you will be uploading data onto a laptop.
• It is essential that you hold a full and valid driving licence as you are required to drive for the role.
