Job summary

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines Ltd. is seeking a Trainee Cruise Sales Consultant for our Ipswich Head Office. You will respond to customer inquiries, handle reservations, and promote Fred.

Olsen products. A full training programme will develop product knowledge and sales skills. We offer an initial training period with Learning & Development support, a permanent full-time role, 35 hours per week Monday to Friday and every other Saturday, with a weekday day off when Saturday is worked.

Qualifications

• Personable with excellent communication skills and a polite, engaging telephone manner.
• Able to build positive relationships with our customers.
• Educated to GCSE-level or equivalent, with a C or 4 in Maths and English.
• Computer literate and able to pick up new systems quickly.
• Passionate to work in the travel industry and learn our destinations.
• Highly organised and able to manage tasks to meet deadlines.
• Sales or customer service experience is beneficial.

As we continue to grow, we are now strengthening our Reservations team with a Trainee Cruise Sales Consultant in our Ipswich Head Office.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Learning and development are important to us. Therefore, as the successful candidate, you will benefit from an initial training programme. During this time, you will work closely with our Learning and Development team, who will provide full product training covering the systems we use and the Fred. Olsen products to help you have all the knowledge you need to achieve your best.

This is a permanent, full-time role, working 35 hours a week Monday to Friday and every other Saturday. A day off during the week will be rewarded when a Saturday is worked.
