Job summary

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines Ltd. is recruiting a Trainee Cruise Sales Consultant at our Ipswich Head Office. You will join our Reservations team and receive full product training from our Learning and Development team to handle customer enquiries and bookings.

Working 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday and every other Saturday, you will build knowledge of rates and terms, promote Fred. Olsen products, confirm bookings and upsell. A commission opportunity complements your basic salary.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths & English (C/4) required.
• Excellent communication and telephone skills are essential.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to travel industry.

Responsibilities

• Deal with customer enquiries and reservations in a polite and professional manner.
• Build and maintain your knowledge library on rates, prices, and terms of business.
• Effectively promote all relevant Fred. Olsen products to customers.
