Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking Trainee Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Cirencester. You will supervise classes, deliver pre-prepared work, and maintain a positive learning environment during teacher absences.

Ideal candidates are graduates or those with experience with teenagers, who are confident communicators with strong interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour. Training is provided, with flexible 2–5 days per week schedules.

Qualifications

• Graduates or candidates with relevant experience working with teenagers.
• Confident communicators with strong interpersonal skills.
• Willing to complete full training provided for suitable candidates.

Responsibilities

• Supervising whole classes during teacher absences
• Delivering pre-set lesson materials and instructions
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Building positive relationships with students and staff
• Encouraging student engagement and participation
• Working across a range of subjects and year groups
