Job summary

Ormiston Families in the United Kingdom is offering a Trainee Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) role within the YOUnited partnership. You will train with University College London at the Anna Freud Centre while delivering evidence-based guided self-help to children and young people aged 5-13 experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.

The post is fixed-term for 12 months with potential for permanent appointment subject to vacancies in 2028.

Qualifications

• Experience working with CYP with mental health or wellbeing difficulties.
• Bachelor’s degree (2:2) in psychology or equivalent, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Train as a CWP while employed by Ormiston Families under YOUnited partnership.
• Deliver guided self-help interventions to CYP (5–13) across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough.
• Travel across Cambridgeshire/Peterborough and occasional training in London.
