Job summary

Centre 33 is offering two trainee positions for Children and Young People’s Wellbeing Practitioners. The role combines university-led training with hands-on practice in a busy community service across Cambridge, Ely, Peterborough, and Huntingdon hubs.

You will study part-time for the Post Graduate Diploma and work within the CYP Wellbeing service, building skills to support young people’s mental health while completing the training under UCL. Some travel is required across the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a second-class Bachelor’s Degree from a UK university in a relevant subject (e.g. Psychology).
• Experience working with young people and supporting mental wellbeing would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based guided self-help interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
• Provide brief, evidence-based, goal-focused interventions and psychoeducational resources within the Centre 33 service.
