Job summary

Ormiston Families in Norwich seeks a trainee post holder to train in Child Wellbeing Practice. You will deliver evidence-based interventions to children and young people in the community under supervision and travel for training at London and across Norfolk & Waveney.

The role runs for 12 months starting January 2027, with a salary of £25,147 per annum and a closing date for applications. DBS checks will be required.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate level qualification required.
• Willingness to travel across Norfolk & Waveney and to London for training.
• Experience working with children/young people in a mental health or related setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, assess and deliver evidence-based interventions to children and young people in the community.
• Attend and fulfil the training elements of the post, including practical, academic and practice-based assessments.
• Gain a UCL Postgraduate Diploma in Child Wellbeing Practice upon successful completion.
