We're a traditional pub located just a stones throw from the beautiful Cuerden Valley. We offer a dog-friendly bar area, delicious home-cooked food, a restaurant & function room, a games room, and a lovely beer garden.

Description
  • Preparing fresh food in a kitchen environment
  • Using locally sourced produce
  • Performing general housekeeping within the kitchen
  • Knife work
  • Operating kitchen appliances
  • Pastry and baking work
  • Washing, cutting, and preparing vegetables
  • Preparing meat and fish such as chicken, steak, and pork
  • Ensuring allergens and intolerances are handled carefully
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Managing food waste
Requirements
  • Shift 5 days a week, with earliest start at 9am and latest at 10pm (specific days to be confirmed)
  • Passion for food and cooking
  • Teamwork skills
  • Punctuality and good attendance
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene
  • Good communication and listening skills
