Job summary

Toomey Leasing Group in Basildon, Essex, is recruiting a Trainee Business Development Consultant to join our sales team. You will receive full training, a structured path to progression, and a generous commission package with an OTE of £35k in year one.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with 22 days holiday plus bank holidays. Salary: £25k basic plus commission and benefits; commissions start from month one.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.
• Candidates with telesales experience have an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Actively seek new business opportunities via sales and networking.
• Prepare, submit, and follow up quotations.
• Respond promptly to customer requests with professional service.
• Provide back-up support to the sales team and learn product knowledge.
• Shadow senior team members and participate in external meetings with prospects.
• Collaborate with Administration and Marketing to understand sales processes.
