Job summary

Stagecoach Swindon is seeking motivated individuals to train as PCV bus drivers through a Level 2 Apprenticeship, earning while you learn.

No experience needed; training spans 6–8 weeks with £16.20 per hour during training, leading to annual earnings of £33,000+ at 39 hours weekly as a qualified driver. Based at Swindon depot with rotating shifts, including weekends.

You will gain a structured, externally recognised qualification and join a supportive team at Stagecoach Swindon.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided to gain PCV licence via Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship.
• Must be 18+ and hold a UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Right to work in the UK and meet DVLA eligibility criteria (183 days residency) for funding.
• Positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering great customer service.

£33,000 per year

• Based at our Swindon depot, located at Unit J, Darby Close, Cheney Manor Industrial Estate, SN2 2PN
• Pay rate during training of £16.20 per hour (training will last 6 – 8 weeks)
• Annual earnings of £33,000+ following completion of training based on 39 hours per week as a qualified Bus Driver
• Shift patterns rotating, including weekend and bank holidays

What do you need to apply?

• You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Right to work in the UK (You will need to have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as part of DVLA requirement) and have been ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands or the British overseas territories for the last 3 years OR meet alternative criteria due to funding criteria (can be discussed via application)
