Job summary

Stagecoach Group Limited is recruiting for an apprentice bus driver at our Stratford Upon Avon Depot in Warwickshire. You will train while you earn, gaining a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship and the PCV licence as part of a structured pathway.

Starting with paid training and a clear progression into a qualified driver role, you’ll deliver friendly customer service, ensure safe journeys, and work shifts across a 5-out-of-7 pattern while developing professional skills for a long-term career.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a full UK driving licence and up to 6 penalty points.
• Right to work in the UK and DVLA residency criteria met.
• Patient, safe and courteous approach with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to a team.

• Earn while you learn, we provide fully paid training to help you gain your PCV licence and enhancing your learning through a Level 2 Apprenticeship Qualification.
• Based at our Stratford Upon Avon Depot, located within Warwickshire
• Pay rate during training of £16.22 per hour (training will last 6 – 8 weeks)
• Annual earnings of £32,894 following completion of training based on 39 hours per week as a qualified Bus Driver
• Shift patterns of 5 out of 7 days

What do you need to apply?

• You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Right to work in the UK (You will need to have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as part of DVLA requirement) and have been ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands or the British overseas territories for the last 3 years OR meet alternative criteria due to funding criteria (can be discussed via application)
• A patient, safe and courteous approach

• A willingness to learn and be part of a brilliant team
