Job summary

Stagecoach is recruiting a Trainee Bus Driver for the Portree depot. No experience is required, and you will be paid to train while gaining a PCV licence.

Training pay is £15.27 per hour for 6–8 weeks, with annual earnings of £33,350 after qualification based on 42 hours per week. Shifts are 5 over 7, and you’ll join a friendly team committed to excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older with a full UK driving licence and up to 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to train and gain a PCV licence with paid training.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Completing our industry leading training, securing your PCV licence followed by ongoing CPC training and professional development

What do you need to apply?

• You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Right to work in the UK (You will need to have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as a part of DVLA requirement)
• A patient, safe and courteous approach to driving
• Being the face of Stagecoach, a positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering great customer service
• A willingness to learn and be part of a brilliant team
