Job summary

Stagecoach Highland is seeking qualified bus drivers to join our Portree driving team. You will receive full in-house training, including CPC renewal, and play a key role in transporting customers safely and comfortably to healthcare, work, shopping and leisure.

We offer generous benefits including a final salary pension scheme, 29 days holiday rising to 33 after 2 years, free travel for you and a companion, and extensive discounts. £14.60 per hour with overtime £16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• PCV licence held and up to 6 penalty points.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Patient, safe and courteous driving approach.

Responsibilities

• Drive Stagecoach buses safely and responsively to routes and schedules.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to passengers and ensure a high standard of customer care.
• Assist with vehicle checks and report any faults or issues to maintenance.

Pay Rates £14.60 per hour. Overtime rate for all hours worked over and above rostered duties £16.50 per hour.

For the qualified PCV driver role

• You need to have a PCV licence, and no more than 6 penalty points
• You need to want to deliver great customer service
• You need to have a patient, safe and courteous approach to driving
