Job summary

Stagecoach Peterhead is seeking trainees to become bus drivers. You’ll be paid to train and the PCV licence cost is covered, with a starting rate during training of £14.63 per hour. After training, typical annual earnings are around £31,650–£31,950, based on a 42-hour week. Roles are based at Peterhead depot, with 5 over 7 shift patterns.

No prior driving experience is required; a full UK licence is needed and training lasts 6–8 weeks to qualify.

Qualifications

• You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Right to work in the UK (183 days in the UK as part of DVLA requirements).
• Willingness to learn and be part of a brilliant team.
• Patient, safe and courteous approach to driving.
• No experience required; full training provided to gain a PCV licence.
