Job summary

Stagecoach Aberhill Depot in Methil is seeking a Trainee Bus Driver. No prior driving experience is required as you will earn a wage while you learn, with fully paid training to obtain your PCV licence.

Pay starts at £13.45 per hour during training (6–8 weeks), rising to £14.72 per hour after training and £16.22 after 1 year, with overtime at £19.00 per hour. Shifts include day, middle and late across 5 days in 7.

Trainee Bus Driver

• Based at our Aberhill depot, located at Methil, Fife
• Pay rate during training of £13.45 per hour (training will last 6 – 8 weeks)
• Pay rate of £14.72 after training for the first 12 months then rises to £16.22 per hour, Overtime rate of £19.00 per hour. Annual earnings of £32,148 following completion of training based on 42 hours per week as a qualified Bus Driver
• Shift patterns of Day shift, Middle Shifts and Late shifts, working any 5 days over 7

What do you need to apply?

• You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Right to work in the UK (You will need to have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as a part of DVLA requirement)
• A patient, safe and courteous approach to driving
• Being the face of Stagecoach, a positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering great customer service
• A willingness to learn and be part of a brilliant team
