Job summary

Arriva UK Bus Ltd in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, is hiring Bus Drivers to serve the local community. You’ll start with full paid training to gain your PCV licence at our Arriva Training School, then work with a mentor as you progress.

Starting pay is £13.75 per hour during training, rising to £14.00 after probation and £16.00 once fully established, with overtime, ongoing CPC training, and clear career opportunities including management and expert driving paths.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old.
• Have held a driving licence for at least 6 months.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Pass a drugs and alcohol test.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive buses on local routes and ensure passengers' safe journeys.
• Engage with customers and provide information as needed.
• Maintain punctual schedules and report issues to control.
• Complete associated record keeping and checks.
