Job summary

Arriva UK Bus Ltd is seeking a Bus Driver for Tamworth depot. You will start as a Trainee Driver with paid training to gain your PCV licence at Arriva Training School, followed by mentoring and progression opportunities.

Hours are 5 out of 7 with a mix of early, middle and late shifts, averaging about 45 hours per week. After training, rates rise to £14.45/h weekdays and £15.55/h Sundays, with enhanced pay on Bank Holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Minimum 6 months driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Excellent people and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts and cover early/mid/late slots.

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers safely on assigned routes and timetables.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and assist passengers as needed.
• Keep to schedule and communicate delays or issues to control.
• Support ongoing CPC training and career development within Arriva.
