Job summary

Stagecoach Group in Inverness is recruiting trainee bus drivers to start a career with purpose. You will receive paid training to obtain your PCV licence, with support to develop CPC qualifications, and you will drive a modern fleet to help people travel safely and comfortably.

You will work flexible shifts, learn on the job, and join a team that values safety, service and community impact. Do not worry about experience—training is provided, and a full UK driving licence is required.

Salary

Weekly earnings of up to £672 with opportunities for overtime.

Typical annualized salary of up to £35,000

• Based at our Inverness depot, located at 1 Seafield Road IV1 1SG
• Pay rate during training of up to £16.01 (training will last 6 – 8 weeks)
• Annual earnings of up to £35,000 following completion of training based on 42 hours per week as a qualified Bus Driver
• Overtime rate of up to£18.10
• Shift patterns of early, midday, late and split

What do you need to apply?

• You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Right to work in the UK (You will need to have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as a part of DVLA requirement)
• A patient, safe and courteous approach to driving
• Being the face of Stagecoach, a positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering great customer service
• A willingness to learn and be part of a brilliant team
