Job summary

Stagecoach Group is seeking a Trainee Bus Driver at our Aberhill depot in Methil, Scotland. You’ll train on paid courses to gain your PCV licence, with pay starting at £13.45 per hour during training and £14.72 thereafter, rising to £16.22 after the first year, with overtime at £19.00.

The role offers day, middle and late shifts across a 5-day week, requiring a 18+ driving licence with up to 6 points and a strong focus on customer service. Training lasts 6–8 weeks and leads to a real career path.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pay rate of £14.72 after training for the first 12 months then rises to £16.22 per hour, Overtime rate of £19.00 per hour. Annual earnings of £32,148 following completion of training based on 42 hours per week as a qualified Bus Driver
• Shift patterns of Day shift, Middle Shifts and Late shifts, working any 5 days over 7

What do you need to apply?

• You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Right to work in the UK (You will need to have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as a part of DVLA requirement)
