Job summary

Stagecoach Aviemore is hiring trainee bus drivers to train on the job and gain a PCV licence. You’ll be paid during training, with a clear path to earning UK pay with 42 hours per week once qualified.

The role involves driving our buses safely, delivering great customer service, and supporting communities across Aviemore. A full UK driving licence is required eventually.

Weekly earnings up to £672 with opportunities for overtime.

Typical annualized salary of £35,000

• Based at our Aviemore depot, located at Myrtlefield Industrial Estate Aviemore PH22 1SB
• Pay rate during training of up to £16.01 per hour (training will last 6-8 weeks)
• Annual earnings of up to £35,000 following completion of training based on 42 hours per week as a qualified Bus Driver
• Overtime rate of up to £18.10 per hour
• Shift patterns of early, midday, late and split

What will you be doing?

• Completing our industry leading training, securing your PCV licence followed by ongoing CPC training and professional development

What do you need to apply?

• You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Right to work in the UK (You will need to have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as a part of DVLA requirement)
• A patient, safe and courteous approach to driving
• Being the face of Stagecoach, a positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering great customer service
• A willingness to learn and be part of a brilliant team
