Job summary

Arriva Ashington is seeking a trainee bus driver to launch a rewarding career serving the local community. You will receive structured training at the Ashington depot and work with a mentor while you gain your PCV licence.

The role features early starts on a rotating schedule, ongoing CPC training, and extensive development opportunities within the company. You will be part of a diverse, customer-focused transport team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old to work at Ashington depot.
• Have been driving for a minimum of 6 months.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Will need to undergo a drug and alcohol test before your assessment.
• Will need to pass an English comprehension test.

Responsibilities

• Drive bus on rotating shifts and ensure passenger safety and comfort.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist passengers as needed.
• Complete training through Arriva Training School and participate in CPC updates.
