Job summary

You will learn cloud-based software such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks, support bookkeeping tasks, process invoices, and work with client financial data as you develop core accounting competencies.

Qualifications

• No prior bookkeeping or accountancy experience required.
• Interest in finance and accuracy is essential.
• Willingness to learn and develop basic accounting skills.
• GCSEs in Maths and English are expected.
• Ability to learn cloud-based accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bookkeeping for a varied portfolio of clients.
• Process invoices and financial transactions.
• Support bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist with VAT returns and management information.
• Learn and work with Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.
• Develop understanding of accounting principles and client servics.
