Gateway Group Services Ltd. is recruiting for a Trainee Block Manager (Property Management) in Rochford, Essex.

You will work alongside experienced professionals to manage a diverse portfolio of apartment blocks and support service charge information, budget preparation and client relationships. We offer full training and support, with 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and a competitive salary reviewed annually.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the property industry and/or in a customer service role.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Highly organised with good time management and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively managing a diverse portfolio of apartment blocks
• Assisting with the preparation of Service Charge information and accounts
• Supporting budget preparation and ongoing budget management
• Handling maintenance issues promptly and effectively
• Liaising with customers and clients to ensure high service standards
• Building strong client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations
• Using active listening and negotiation skills to resolve issues
• Demonstrating ambition, resilience, and analytical thinking
• Receiving full training and support to achieve TPI qualification (if not already held)
• Promoting the Gateway brand and helping to create new opportunities
