Worth Recruiting - Property Industry Recruitment is seeking a Block Manager for a permanent full-time role in Southampton, SO15. The position offers £40k DOE per annum and focuses on managing residential blocks and developments with a professional property team.

You will handle day-to-day management, budgets, liaise with contractors and residents, and maintain records. Full training and career progression are provided within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Good IT skills, including confidence using standard office software.
• The ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team.
• An interest in property management, residential developments and leasehold matters.
• Transferable experience in customer service, administration, property, facilities management or another client-facing role.
• A full UK driving licence; an industry-related qualification such as TPI, RICS or IOSH would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the day-to-day management and smooth running of residential blocks and developments.
• Assisting with the organisation and attendance of Annual General Meetings (AGMs).
• Helping prepare, monitor and maintain annual service charge budgets.
• Responding to leaseholder enquiries and providing a professional level of customer service.
• Liaising with contractors, residents and other stakeholders to help resolve maintenance and property-related issues.
• Maintaining accurate property records, correspondence and management documentation.
